THE DAY WE KISSED ------------------------- Morning coffee in my alcohol Eggs and shame should hit the spot And of all the things I can't recall Baby I almost forgot Oh I ran to meet you so we could talk about us My damn car busted and I had to ride the bus Well I barely missed you and I knew that you were pissed Why can't we just go back to The day we kissed In every way you know I fit the bill I was born to hold your hand Sometimes I am just an imbecile How's that hard to understand Well there is no reason and there isn't any why This operator is forever standing by And I'm strong yet soft like a gorilla in the mist And you lost your mind about me The day we kissed So the love that we know let it be let it flow Like the passing of day into night You're the check to my mate there is little debate And did I mention you're always right Oh it's been three days and I've been counting every breath My heart's been hollering and beating me to death But I hear you knocking with your sweet forgiving fist And you wrap your arms around me You're always there to ground me And I knew that love had found me The day we kissed © & ℗ 2022 The Oh Wells, Brian Kerrigan Music, BMI and Ira Merrill Music, BMI

ANGEL OF MINE -------------------- In the dark and devilry You would be the belle of the ball But you're your own worst enemy Yet I chose you (if you recall) And you still loved me after the fall I don't have or need a reason We can make our own design 'Cause there is love in every season Angel of mine In the cheer and revelry You can feel the walls caving in A cauldron of anxiety But I'll be here when you're back again It's good to see you where have you been I don't have or need a reason We can make the water wine 'Cause there is love in every season Angel of mine May we trust completely From ship to shore Spill our secrets on the floor I don't want to hide emotion We can honor or malign 'Cause our love's bigger than the ocean I don't know our destination But the journey is divine 'Cause yours is love forever patient Angel of mine © & ℗ 2022 The Oh Wells, Brian Kerrigan Music, BMI and Ira Merrill Music, BMI

WAFFLEHOUSE WAITRESS --------------------------------- Her heart is always achin' when she serves Dakota Toast and coffee bacon and a whiskey soda He is cool (ain't nothing here to see) He is fine (familiar mystery) He is everything she knows she ought to leave behind Wafflehouse waitress Is it so hard to steer Well you could be famous To the aimless if you just Get out of here The Sunday Special's special in this sleepy hometown Dakota's kiss-me smile is kicking off her countdown But she's cool (fill his cup to the rim) She could win (get miles away from him) Take a one-way bus to see if it comes back again Wafflehouse waitress For the dusk there's a dawn Baby you could be famous To the nameless if you just Get moving on Dreams are never gone or lost on her And would you like a refill sir You're an awful house waitress Maybe that's what they say But you're beautiful shapeless You can make your own way And love could mean landing In the city or on the range No misunderstanding You're expanding open up And make a change Yeah make a change © & ℗ 2022 The Oh Wells, Brian Kerrigan Music, BMI and Ira Merrill Music, BMI

Without You 03:23
WITHOUT YOU ------------------ Say goodnight look left or look right but Don't look back be brave I say when it hits me again just Like a tidal wave These memories are like passing cars They're shifting into view Though I can't say if they're mine or they're ours I don't want to be Without you I'm afraid I wish you'd have stayed but I'll be leaving soon Love and pain we'd wax and we'd wane like Phases of the moon We're all I love and I hate to feel This turning of the screw Though I can't say what is false or whats real I don't want to be Without you Place set for no one A fork and a knife Shot with my own gun But you gave me life I pray I lie and I be of good cheer And say coo coo kachu It's all a blur now but one thing is clear I don't want to be I don't want to be Without you Without you © & ℗ 2022 The Oh Wells, Brian Kerrigan Music, BMI and Ira Merrill Music, BMI

Loverville 03:23
LOVERVILLE --------------- Honey I've been waiting for you As if you didn't know Talking 'bout that place we've been too Terrified to go Do I say the words do I say the words If you want me to I will (if you want me to I will) There is no one else there is no one else So meet me on the road to Loverville The anticipation tightening For the lock a key We can make it spark like lightning Make it ecstasy Do I take you now do I take you now Like a sweet delightful pill (like a sweet delightful pill) Do we open up do we open up Or break down on the road to Loverville So keep it all coming Fruit of the vine Simple and pure and divine Do you trust me now do you trust me now Are the troubled waters still Shall I take your hand never give it back Do I say the words do I say the words If you want me to I will (if you want me to I will) There is no one else there is no one else So meet me on the road to Loverville Do I take you now do I take you now Like a sweet delightful pill (like a sweet delightful pill) There is no one else there is no one else So see you on the road to Loverville © & ℗ 2022 The Oh Wells, Brian Kerrigan Music, BMI and Ira Merrill Music, BMI

I WILL WIPE YOUR TEARS AWAY --------------------------------------- Remember when we wandered oceanside Without a thought without a care And every hurt just washed out with the tide We can still be there Come lay your head upon my pillow I know you had an awful day Hold on to me my weeping willow I will wipe your tears away And we've been down our winding roads and years Through sunny skies and tragedy A bumpy ride but there is no one else I'd want here with me Come lay your head upon my shoulder I know there's nothing I can say But when your heart is feeling colder I will wipe your tears away Come lay your head upon my pillow Everything's gonna be ok Hold on to me my weeping willow I will wipe your tears away I will wipe your tears away © & ℗ 2022 The Oh Wells, Brian Kerrigan Music, BMI and Ira Merrill Music, BMI

The Oh Wells is:

Brian Kerrigan - Lead and harmony vocals, guitars
Ira Merrill - Lead and harmony vocals, guitars

For this recording:

Brian played some acoustic guitar, bass, melodica, harmonica, mandolin, Nashville tuned acoustic guitar and probably some other stuff I totally can't remember right now. Brian sings lead on track 2, "Angel of Mine", track 4, "Without You" and track 6, "I Will Wipe Your Tears Away".

Ira played a lot of acoustic guitar, most of the bass, electric guitars, percussion and probably some other stuff I totally can't remember right now. Ira sings lead on track 1, "The Day We Kissed", track 3, "Wafflehouse Waitress", and track 5, "Loverville".

Brian's daughter, Abbey Rose Kerrigan, sang backups and starred as "The Waitress" on track 3, "Wafflehouse Waitress".

Our friend Braden Blake (of Super Deluxe) sings lead on track 7, "Forgive Your Friends", which was an iPhone recording he made up on the spot to send to his niece to cheer her up. He showed this to us as a joke, and we loved it and said, "Hey can we add background harmonies and put it on our album?" to which he said, "Ehhh...you guys are stupid." This, of course, meant we had to do it!

Additional musicians:

Steve Gale - Drums (on the Dakota EP and often for live shows)
Abbey Rose Kerrigan - Guest vocals on track 3, "Wafflehouse Waitress"
Josh Celli - Bass (for live shows)
Jason Edwards - Drums (sometimes for live shows)
